Indigenous Rights

Indigenous Rights and the Green Mineral Boom

The land occupied by Indigenous Peoples also contains much of the world’s untapped mineral wealth. The lack of clear recognition of indigenous rights, and the pressing need for more minerals to feed the energy transition present all the ingredients of unjust and conflictive outcomes.

Critical Minerals and the Green Energy Transition

SDSG is evaluating the social and environmental impacts on mining communities with a goal of assuring equitable benefits for those impacted most by the energy transition’s demand.
