Introduction to the Project Series
SDSG has partnered with Rainforest Foundation UK to help create a series of documents that are designed to help landholders and communities in the DRC understand and protect their rights when getting involved in carbon projects that are a part of the Voluntary Carbon Market. These documents can be used to assist landholders, Indigenous peoples, communities, and NGOs with anything from understanding basic rights and obligations; to navigating negotiation stages and even provides guidance on formatting an equitable and fair benefit sharing agreement.
